I saw this place driving down Rt 15 towards 94. I had to double take because I wasn't sure that we'd have some Mediterranean cousine so close. Stopped by today with my motorcycle to pick up some to go food for myself and my wife. The cashier's were very nice and made small talk. When I sat down, I got Turkish tea brought out. Unprompted! Reminded me of my mom when we'd drink tea in the morning, and of my Afghanistan deployment. A gesture of welcoming your guests, regardless of how long you'd stay. Definitely coming back here again.
I don’t usually write reviews but this one writes itself. Came here a few weeks ago when they opened and we were very disappointed. As someone who is native Turkish and both my parents are from Turkey, the food here is not even close to being authentic/true middle eastern. Yes, the dishes are named after Turkish and middle eastern meals, but the taste is far off. I get Sussex county has no middle eastern restaurants, hence the other high reviews because there’s nothing to compare it too. If you want true Mediterranean food with true authentic taste, they exist in Paterson and Wayne. Yes the drive is farther but you get the true experience this place lacks. If you want undercooked, half frozen appetizers, long wait times, and below average tasting meals, look no further than this place! Not authentic Turkish food.
